Just as I was about to close the deal, I asked him about the other key for the car. He said that there was none, and a lot of cars he gets have no second key, noting he would not provide me with another. OK. Fortunately I was able to go to the former Saturn new car dealer and get another key made for $78, which could have cost me much more than that. By the way, I did drive off the lot with about an eighth tank of gas and the low fuel warning on. I pay 8500 dollars for a car and that is what I get. Cheap skate.

All in all, it was not a pleasant buying experience, considering the dodging of questions, the half truths, the fibs, the concealment of facts and his mildly confrontational nature.

A day later I returned. When he saw me he drive up it made him just about turn white as a sheet. I then explained that it was just a side marker bulb burned out and he proceeded to gladly replace it. He looked much more comfortable and at ease after that. One can only wonder what he was worried about.

I bought a six year old Saturn with about 66,000 miles on it from this guy. The first fib out of his mouth was that it should get about 40 MPG. The car's EPA rating is 32 MPG highway. OK, maybe he does not know much about cars. Funny. I then did a pretty decent inspection of the car inside and out and a test drive, even taking it home (which was not far away) to jack it up, pull the front wheel and look underneath it. It was really "clean" looking but needed front the brake pads replaced soon. I then returned it and asked about the car's general and service history (accidents, the regular maintenance performed, had the timing belt been replaced?, etc.). I pretty much got silence and then he changed the subject. My next question was can you show me a Car Fax on it, which was again met with silence. OK. I asked where he got the car from and the name of the previos owner. Someting about an auto wholesaler was the response. Again OK. I then gave him a reasonable offer based on my research on this particular model Saturn resale value and above the mentioned issues and information, (or lach of), that was provided to me. He did not accept it, giving me the reason that he just had put the car recently up for sale. OK.

I have purchased 2 vehicles from this place and they both were in good condition. I highly recommend them and they are very friendly. They also took care of some problems with a van before I had purchased it recently and also are very friendly and willing to help me out. The car that I had purchased over a year ago, is still in great condition and runs amazing.

Typical cheesy used (up) car dealer.

I just purchased my second vehicle from this dealership. I would recommend Century Auto to anyone looking for a vehicle. Very nice and professional.

I would not recommend this dealer. I had a family member purchase a van from this dealer. Only had the van about a week, and the transmission went out. Dealer won't even talk to my family member to help fix this problem. My family member is a hard working farmer with 4 kids. He needed this vehicle for his family. But this dealer completely scammed my family member. Now the van is sitting, and they can't use it. Nice job scamming a hard working American farmer. Kudos to you Century Auto. Now the van will sit until he can get the $3800 together to replace the transmission. Century Auto, please think about what you did. How can you sell vehicles like this to hard working people? Shame on you. I will take this to Facebook next to make people aware of what you did so that other hard working people don't have this happen to them.

Well the reason i give one star is bc my car started smoking real bad more than likely a head problem and my car has stopped running never over heated but would run hot but i told him i needed a car to last me at least 6 months and it only lasted 3. I paid 3 grand cash.

About a week and a half later I get a call from him saying to come in and I can have the car for what I offered. Although he did not sound very friendly about it. But when I got there the next day he still wanted to haggle over the price. OK, then give me some sort of a warranty with the vehicle, I said. He then wanted to charge me for one of those weak and pathetic 90 day buyer pays 50% of the repair cost on only major components things. Basically one that is not worth th paper it is written on. After some more bargaining, which included me insisting on an all inclusive price, (cost of the car, taxes and registration fee), we struck a deal. I even did get him to drop the "paperwork and processing" garbage fee. This is just another pure profit item that gets added to vehicle prices. He did finally produce the Car Fax report showing it was imported used from Canada by an auto wholesaler in the Detroit area. He bought it from a new and used car dealer in Fond Du Lac.
