Best thing ive ever done was join this gym. My passion for martial arts and meeting so many news friends from so many walks of life. All coming together because we share one or two of the same interest. Not to mention being affliated with the main Roufusport headquarters down in Milwaukee and going down ther whenever we want and getting to see the legend Duke Roufus and all the UFC guys down there. Our professor Daniel Wanderley is so knowledgeable about bjj and makes learning so fun being the great funny guy he is. Very friendly atmosphere! Great instruction from direct affiliate of Roufusport in Milwaukee. Compared to other Martial Arts schools in the area this place is VERY affordable.

I have done some martial arts before and have had bad experiences with other gyms treating me poorly. Not so here. Andrew is attentive and makes you feel welcome and comfortable even though this can be an intimidating sport for women. Kickboxing is super fun because you don't do the same routine every time. It's learning real kickboxing so you are always drilling something new so it never gets old, and its fun to see the improvement toward the end of class. Its a fun way to burn a ton of calories and lose weight. Also as a coach Andrew always makes me feel he is paying attention to me even when the class is very full as he comes and corrects me or tells me when I am doing something right. I never have felt lost in the shuffle. If you want to get in shape while learning real life skills on how to defend yourself against a bigger person and have fun doing it, this is the place to be!
I started training and working out at Roufusport Appleton in May of 2016 when they first opened. The gym is different in many aspects from higher quality instruction, better culture and atmosphere, and no cliques or egos. Beginners are welcome and treated like family from day 1 of stepping into the gym and that is something that myself, my fiance, and family loves about this place. The people who train here quickly became family and we all hang out outside of the gym. If you are looking to learn true self defense, real kickboxing, mma, brazilian jiu jitsu or just get into shape and lose weight... this is THE place to be in Appleton and the Fox Valley. We just had a baby and once she is older she will be in here training too!
