My parents had taken their Chocolate Lab to Dr. Jay Peters since she was a pup. She has had many allergies from chronic ear infections, red/hot spots on her belly, and bald spots around her eyes. CountrySide had been giving her monthly allergy shots and charging $139 per shot. My parent's new vets at Kaukauna Vet Service only charge $102 for the same shot. Also, CountrySide's shots were not that effective. When my parents told their new vet at Kaukauna he said that something else might be wrong. With a piece of scotch tape and a microscope he touched the dog's skin with the tape and discovered an easily treated yeast infection with the microscope. The poor dog had this untreated yeast infection for around 4 years! So disappointing CountrySide!!! The Lab is doing great now and the allergy shots are very effective.
I love the folks at Country Side Vet. Everyone there is so caring and compassionate. The care is top notch and they help you to make informed decisions without just loading up the bill with fees just because they can.

Pretty great place a very nice staff! They've always treated our animals well and make time for urgent care if there aren't any openings. It is pretty busy and popular so sometimes you have to take whatever openings they have available. Overall, the prices are probably comparable to other places and they are good about telling you what something will cost.
In early Feb. my mother-in-law's cat, Lady, went to CountrySide Veterinary Services for a routine enema. Dr. Jay Peters and Dr. Renee Palmer were involved with the procedure. My mother-in-law had gone to CountrySide for many years and they were aware that the cat had a long history of many adverse reactions to medications. Within hours after being sent home, Lady died. After the cat's death, my mother-in-law got a copy of her medical records and discovered that just prior to sending her home, CountrySide had given Lady an antidepressant pill and a pain-killer pill without letting my mother-in-law know.
