Just in town for the weekend and my boyfriend asked our hotel staff what the best Mexican restaurant in Appleton was. We were recommended to El Azteca. We made our journey across town to get to this restaurant and I said upon entering that this place looked nice. Nice was such an understatement. This place was simply the best. The food, the salsa, the queso, was all amazing. The margarita I drank was possibly the best margarita I've ever had. My favorite part about the evening however was our server. He was attentive and genuine. Whenever we would thank him for something, he would get the biggest smile making you know that he appreciates your visit. I'm not typically one to rate something 5 stars after one visit, but this place deserves it! It was a pleasure visiting, and if we come back, we'll definitely come back to El Azteca!
