I was checked in quickly and waited a short time and was taken to an examination room.
They have many doctors who have experience with transgender care and issues, making them a perfect fit for me!
A younger gentleman came in and talked to me about the issues I came in with. I explained my back and side pain. They examined my sides and back by hand and could not find any issue.
I was asked basic questions and had my vitals taken (blood pressure, breathing exam, etc etc) by one of the nurses on staff and was asked if I needed any updates on shots. I told them "yes, I do need a tetanus shot, its been a very long time since I have had one" and was told I would get one before leaving.
I went to Mosaic Family Health for a basic check up and some health concerns, and to be updated on my tetanus shot. I scheduled an appointment and drove an hour to make said appointment.
No one returned to my examination room.
At that point another doctor came in and asked me questions about my heart and then both doctors left a couple minutes later. I wasn't rescheduled or told they would return...Nor did I receive any shots at all.
I was left in the room for about 30 minutes before I just decided to leave, it was not busy, they had 1 other person in the waiting room at the time.
Great interpersonal care; staff are professional and respectful.
the doctor was not knowledgeable or able to determine the issue and said they would consult their "supervisor".
Dont go here, there is no concern with quality of care at all. call any other health care facility but this one..
That was basically the entire check up, at no point was I offered examination past the basic check up, even though one of the doctors was concerned about a pinched nerve in my back...
