Stay away unless you want them to ask inappropriate questions to your young kids and overcharge you for it...
During the evaluation, for ADD mind you, she asks my 8 year old daughter if she wants to hurt herself. Then she asks her if she wants to kill herself. Are you kidding me!?! She's an 8 year old girl who's there for an ADD evaluation! At that point evaluation over!
Negative Stars if I could! First of all, it takes quite some time to get anyone on the phone. I had my 4yr old evaled by recommendation of his school for behavioral issues. Evals for that age must be done in Appleton. I had a 1 hr parent pre eval, and two separate 2hrs evals for your child. I was just notified my $900 bill for these three services was grossly underbilled and I should be looking at 6 times that amount. I understand insurance is different for everyone, but I am beyond shocked.
The care has been mediocre at best. They throw pills at my son and don't even talk with him or follow up to see how they work or don't work. Good luck trying to pay your bill too! Call one number for a balance, (which they don't answer) and call another to make a payment. I've been trying to pay a bill for SIX MONTHS and I'm either on hold for 20 minutes or leave a voicemail which I never hear back from. My $20 bill has now gone to collections because they are incapable of contacting the paying party. I'm sorry if I'm not willing to send my credit card numbers through the mail!!
Now the best part...4 months later I receive a follow up bill for another $541 dollars. So in total we are talking about $700 for a short evaluation that they asked my 2nd grader if she wants to commit suicide and then I have to explain to her later what that means. Thanks...I really appreciate that!!!
Horrible experience! Was referred by a teacher to have my 8 year old daughter take an ADD evaluation. So after arriving I pay the evaluation fee up front and it was pretty pricey but I'm ok with that.
Good experience at the clinic and with the staff - but calling them is FRUSTRATING - a long time on hold, hold message says "if you want to leave a message press "1" but when you do that nothing happens, also if you try to text back to their appointment reminders you get an "undeliverable" message. So if you ever need to CHANGE an appointment, you might as well drive there to talk to someone in person.
In addition, the one follow on therapy session (in Oshkosh facility) we had, my insurance company notified me that the therapist (that Catalpa assigned to us) was not credentialed.
Went there and was forced to open up and trust people I didn’t really know and was kicked out because I was unable to participate mentally fully
