Even though I do not plan on going to college here, I have played in symphony orchestras for Lawrence. The students are so kind and the campus is so beautiful. I would definitely recommend this college for anyone wanting to get into liberal arts. The food is the best on any campus and they'll adjust to your dietary needs... they did for me anyway!
Whoever said the food is horrendous has to be the pickiest person on the planet! The food in Andrew Commons is by far the best college cafeteria food that I have ever had, and I have visited over 35 college campuses. Bon Appetit, the company that handles all of the food service at Lawrence does an AMAZING job!!!! Whether it be vegan mushroom stir fry or a personalized omelet station on the weekends, the food is absolutely amazing. Lawrence is an amazing place all-around, and I encourage those who are skeptical to come visit campus!!!! This place is absolutely stunning.
Such a fantastic school! I loved my time there. The professors are fabulous in the classroom, advising in their offices, and they'll even spend some quality time getting to know you in social settings. The cafeteria is great. The students are all interesting and fun people. I highly recommend this school and hope my sister will attend soon!
As parents, we came to Lawrence as often as possible to see performances and plays that our son wasn't even involved with. We still drive 1 1/2 hours to visit on occasion. Superior college experience and education.
Great school, awesome services, love the community and the professors are the best, very demanding but always available and very helpful. Food is good, they have variety and a lot of ethnic foods (I am not a fan) but I can't complain, the chefs will adjust to your dietary needs.
