Company seemed very professional so we decided to go with him. We had issues from the start. The work was supposed to start the day after Thanksgiving. It didn't. I never got a phone call telling me they weren't coming and I never got a call back when I tried to call to find out what was going on. Didn't get a call back until Monday night after I tried calling again to see what was going on. He doesn't seem to like to return calls. I had issues the whole time. They did not start until December 7. And didn't finish until mid January. The owner Nate told us he would pull off the old roof the first day and put on the new roof the next day. He showed up by himself in the middle of the day and worked pulling off the roof for about 2 hours. Someone else showed up and Nate immediatey left while the other guy tried to clean up the huge mess left in the front yard. Only a quarter of the roof was taken off by the end of the day. On an average day, only Nate showed up. Once in a while a helper would come but not often. Nate would show up around either 10:00 and seriously work for 2 hours and leave or show up at 2:00 and work until 4:00. On an average week, he showed up 2 or 3 times out of 5 days. It took him a week and a half to put the facia on because he only worked for a couple hours a day. Nate told me three times that the roof would be done on this day or that day. Sometimes he wouldn't even show up on that day! I understand that it's winter and cold, but on nice days when it's 30 degrees out he still would not show up. Oh and with the mess outside, it wasn't picked up everyday. It was a huge mess left around our whole house until they were finished. We had to park a ways from the house because of all the nails and general trash laying everywhere. I asked the helper about how Nate leaves the job site all the time. He said that he has some other corporate job he's doing too. I think he is way too overextended. Not impressed. On a sidenote, if you do decide to go with Titan anyway, use caution if you need side work done. Our roof leaked and ruined our ceiling. The helper (Tommy) offered to fix it for a cheap price ($75) and he had a friend who would plaster for close to nothing for him. I agreed and paid him($80). He put the sheetrock up and did a really bad job a taping it and now says he underbid himself and needs to give his friend $100. He told me he had to save up after christmas and I said fine, since I wasn't the one who just assumed his friend would do it free. Now he will not return any calls. So I'm guessing even if I offered to pay the other guy, he wouldn't call me back. I just wish he would fix his crappy taping job. It looks like my 8 year old did it.
