Not a fan of Teavana. When I was first introduced to tea, it was my go to place for tea but now that I drink tea multiple times a day and did my research, they really aren't a good place to get tea. The staff was available to help but very pushy as far as trying to get me to buy things I didn't need/want. The tea is very expensive for the quality. Every time they open those canisters and waft it in your face, they are letting air get to the leaves, decreasing the quality of the leaves. There really should be a sample container and then a sealed canister that is only opened when you buy some so it stays fresh. An example I noticed in particular was their Dragonwell tea. This is one of the most expensive teas you can buy and if you have smelled/tasted a legit supply from China, you can really smell the purity of the leaves and taste the fullness of it. When the employee wafted the leaves at me, they were definitely not as potent and looked beyond expired. Dragonwell has large flattened leaves and the ones at Teavana were very small and brittle, with a not so great smell. This is just one example but having gone there and seen/tasted several teas from there, I can tell that it is most certainly not worth the money to get your tea from there. I suggest buying online from a company that has a legit supplier and keeps their stock fresh and sealed. Sure you will have to pay for shipping but you will probably spend the same amount of money and actually get a quality tea instead of the overpriced rubbish from Teavana.
I love Teavana. The staff is always friendly and willing to help a newbie like me. Although the prices are expensive I believe you pay for quality. They have the best tea and I really didn't think I'd ever like it!
Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I love the tea, I suggest getting those cup steepers to get the most out of it!

If I could give a zero for this location I would. The assistant manager was rude and unintelligent. She shouldn't have been allowed to try and resolve issues with customers. They draw you in with samples but forget to inform you they make it with double amount of tea to make it taste richer. Also, if you buy anything on sale you can't return the product. So, to make a long story short, if you want your tea to taste like the samples you will be spending around 40 dollars for 10 cups of tea. Also remember, you can't return anything that you buy on sale even if it's defective. They will not even exchange defective merchandise. The assistant manager Anna, laughs when you try to ask why you can't return a defective product and calls you dear and honey as she belittles you for not being able to comprehend why a chain as well known as Teavana will not stand by their products. Fava tea is the place to go the tea is fresher and they stand behind their products 100%.
