Always helpful, and even though busy, took their time to answer my questions.
We had service done on my 10 yr old daughter's bike (new rear tire, tube and brakes). We returned twice within the hour after the tune up as a result of a loud squeaking noise while riding. It was adjusted, however upon riding home my daughter had difficultly peddling and couldn't stop the bike when using the breaks! Needless to say, we safely walked our bikes back to the shop. The owner exclaimed "we topically don't work on cheap department store bikes" and "this is as good as it will get" and walked away. As a mother I was insulted that he would make such statements in front of my little girl that takes pride in her bike, despite the fact it was not a high quality brand name. l later left a poor review on Schwag's FB page. Moments later I recieved a distorted reply of the situation and was personally criticized/shamed by the company. I strongly suggest if you want quality and respectable service don't waste your time at Schwag.
Went in because my bike was having derailleur issues, they said a tune up should fix it. I got a call about an hour later saying it was done, when I got there I asked what was done and was told a "tune-up"? They said that they adjusted the derailleur and cleaned the bike up. I was a little surprised to find out that my bill was $45 for that but if it fixed my issue then fine. I rode it in the lot only to find out the problem was still there and now the back brakes were not working properly. I will not go back!
I have purchased bikes from Schwag Bike Shop with EXCELLENT customer service from the great staff there.
I bought a bike in 2012 and I thought the gear cluster was noisy and they said to just ride it. It is still noisy today and they never got back to me to replace the part despite me going there multiple times to get it fixed. I can't recommend them.
