Long story short, officer C Peters took her authority to an unprofessional level. I will be filing a complaint. No offense to the rest of the Appleton Police Department.

Officer Douche bag ( B. Kons), detained my 19 and 16 year old daughters, for zero reasons. Told my oldest that she kidnapped my 16 yr old... then proceeded to scream at her after calling me, me telling him I want my girls home...and he hung up. VERRRYY unprofessional...I have terminal cancer, anf no room in my life for such crooked bullshit, and I will be taking drastic legal actions against the department.

Officer C. peters was extremely unprofessional and treated me like a sub human because it was the end of her shift. I know this because she vocalized it but refused to tell me what was going on. At that point I became angry. My boyfriend was being detained and the other cop searched through the entire vehicle including my purse and bags which had nothing illegal in them. I understand having to search through things, I typically respect the law. However he handled my things poorly. He threw everything on the sidewalk and paid no respect to my belongings. He also left the vehicle a mess. Officer Peters then hand cuffed me even though I was standing in place in a non-threatening manner.. I was just standing there crying and being very emotional asking what was happening. She then put me in the back seat of the cop car. She gave me a disorderly conduct fine for $386 for raising my voice because she would not tell me what was going on. I cannot believe the Appleton Police department hires disrespectful egotistical people like this woman. Shame on her for using her authority to treat me as a lesser human. I didn't deserve the treatment I received from her. I take full responsibility for raising my voice but I was in a panic and was very confused. They also did not let me use my phone to find a ride home and they left me there. The police literally stranded me. What is worse is I am not from Appleton so I had nowhere idea where I was. Thank the lord for the bystander who helped me out because he saw everything and was appalled by how she treated me. I believe there are professional police officers in the Appleton police department I am not rating the department as a whole but this officer in particular is awful and does not deserve the title she has.

Someone made a death threat against my (at the time) 9month old son then someone else made threatening gestures towards me. So I went to file a police report about it and at the time the officer I talked to decided to give me a disorderly conduct ticket for defending myself. Well I found out today that the report I filed was never submitted. On top of this pile I (as well as other people) continue to receive threats against our safety by the same person and it seems that the officers of this department don't care. Very unfortunate situation. The only reason I give gcpd 2 stars is because of two officer I encountered in a different issue right before this one I wrote about.

Typical legal gang. Always speeding around, harassing citizens just trying to go home, extorting money from them. Glad I dont have kids like the other 1 star reviews

Every officer I've come into contact with has been kind, helpful, respectful, and professional. These officers care about their community, they're responsive to calls for assistance, and they do tons of outreach to build a positive rapport with their citizens. We appreciate you, GCPD! :)
