Love this place reminds me of when i was a kid no power or water just what you brought with you to survive with
Clean park, only thing would make it better is more of a field to play games.
This is a really nice park, granted there is only one small structure for smaller children but if you go there when it's not busy then you can help them maneuver better throughout the bigger sections. I really like the faux grass instead of the regular wood chips, tar chunks or pebbles; also all the wide open space surrounding the play area for free play and picnics and such is nice, I feel like they could add more because there is so much space but overall a great park.
Great park beautifully kept. Awesome place for the little ones to play while you relax. Play equipment is well maintained. Beautiful view of St. Lawerence Universty chapel, only one block away. The only thing is as it is downtown there is no parking lot. Making day time traffic an issue getting a child in and out of your vehicle.
Appleton's City Park is such a beautiful park with a great deal of history surrounding the park. The large turn of the century homes that surround The park itself has hosted Appletons's Annual Art in the Park for 50+ years. The park features a fountain, and all the traditional play equipment and park benches you'd expect plus all the charm and history surrounding Appleton's downtown.
