If anyone has seen my reviews I tend to like smaller locally owned businesses. With that in mind I have to say this is a very nice hotel. The decor is going through an update at the time this review was written. The buffet brunch while not terrible could be found for a better price elsewhere. The service however was excellent. I do have to complain about one thing. I was with a large group all on separate bills for the buffet. They automatically added a large gratuity. I thought that was ridiculous since it was a buffet and not a more formal dinner.
Always a pleasure to go here! It's a premier hotel without a doubt. Whether you're staying in a room, attending a wedding or meeting, grabbing a bite and a glass of wine, you're going to have a perfect time in a beautiful building. Right down town with tons of things to do. Definitely check them out if you've never been.
Hotel was nice even with the construction. The dining options are great both in and outside of the hotel. My only issue was the group of (what sounded like) college next door who were obnoxiously loud. Not the hotels fault though. Would recommend!
The stay was great! Our room was clean and we had access to the parking garage without going on the street. Would recommend. Sleep number beds in our room too.
We have been going to the Paper Valley for over 25 years. The staff is always professional, helpful, and friendly. We love all the different restaurants in the hotel, rooms are always clean, love that we can walk downtown and shop at the various boutiques, and have never had problems with noisy "neighbors". Will be back again soon.
