Quick, easy, and friendly and clean. The restaurant/bar there is expensive for what it is, so consider getting food beforehand. Maybe get a ping pong table like General Mitchell airport in Milwaukee?

Horrible experience. We attempted to fly standby on an earlier flight and we were treated like we were doing something wrong or requesting something uncommon. The staff was not helpful especially the gentlemen at the United counter at 5am 11/20. I believe his name was Ben. The lady was not knowledgeable about the process of checking bags when flying standby and started rushing us saying she had to go to the gate. She pretened that she could not confirm our flight on standby when the flight had open seats. I fly a lot and this was by far the worst experience. The car rental process was also a disaster. Nancy Peterson from Hertz kicked off my bad experience from this airport. She was rude and not accommodating. The Hertz policy online is different from their "policy" on site. She kept telling me that they are a franchise and can make their own rules separate from the company and that's exactly what happened. I booked online ahead of time only for her to tell me that meant nothing. Her tone was condescending and she was just rude to begin with. Also I reserved a midsize vehicle and she assigned me to a compact vehicle without reducing the rate. Any time I have to return to Wisconsin in the future I will not be using this airport. They are not used to diversity here and it shows.
